Here are some of my pet hates that I come across nearly every day.
1) Unsubscribe addresses that are not links.
2) Unsubscribe links that do not work.
3) Advertising emails that contain no unsubscribe links.
4)Frequent use of videos to advertise products . I have to waste 15 minutes of my time before I find out I either
do no want product or worse can not afford it .
5) Webinars . Living in the UK most webinars are at some ungodly hour in the morning for me. Even if they
are available later as a recording they waste a lot of time. The host spends 10 minutes telling me about himself
then another 5 giving a flattering introduction to his speaker who also spends 10 minutes introducing his acheivements etc. GET TO THE POINT FOR GOODNESS SAKE.
6)Getting bombarded with offers once on a list. Upgrade information is good . Recommendations perhaps once a week. But every single day! Give me strength.
7) Experts who just cannot teach or present facts in an organised and logical fashion.
Enough I have had my say for now.

Rant
Hello Clive,
How right you are with all the points outlined above. Many of the experienced internet marketers will teach you differently on how to succeed with list building and email marketing. Supposedly the right way to communicate with your own list of subscribers.
However, they themselves are running campaigns on the sidelines trying to market their products and bombarding you with email after email. Whether the person is a seasoned IM or not, there is such a thing as over doing it.
I made a list of people whose list I have subscribed to and note the ones that send out more than 2 or 3 emails per day to my box. I give them a week or so to tone it down and if not, I automatically unsubscribe.
I'm like everybody else, I want to receive updated information that can help me learn new things. But, hundreds of emails loaded with nothing but offers can be frustrating.
Anyway, thanks for the rant! I'm glad to see that other people feel the same way.
Kevin

Good Rant
I agree fully, but I'd like to add one to your list. Web page sales pitches that scroll on for a mile down your monitor screen before you can even find out how much it will cost to get in to the program.
