I was long due that I updated my IBS Blog. I had planned to post at least 1 or 2 times every week. But much events came in between. Exciting ones though!
I became owner of a manual traffic exchange surf-bar-traffic. Lol i bought an existing one to safe time and to learn the settings in my own pace. Because I knew absolutely nothing about that. However a corrupted database forced me to start from scratch. On that occasion I decided to change lay-out and name.
It took my months to figure all out and to get it exactly as i wanted. well almost...I have plans. Of course a new TE needs lots of promotion to get it started. So I still need to surf a lot. How ever i use a traffic funneling system. On long term I don't have to surf much any more. There is a tutorial on this sytem in the surf-bar-traffic members area (you need to sign up for free to get access).
Right now SBT (surf-bar-traffic) is building a good reputation as a trusted Traffic Exchange. SBT has the same zero tolerance for scam as my favorite Business network Kooiii, you can read the Alexa reviews on surf-bar-traffic manual traffic exchange.

When you are an active member on social network you must have seen the comments that profit sharing sites are a bad thing.

There are many social network and there are launched new ones frequently. They have all in common that they are great for makking connections and to advertise your business. However there are big diffrences in the costs; although most of them are free to join, most extra feautures cost money (either purchase credits or upgrade). Some are very easy to use, others are more difficult. So which one to choose depends on your personal preference and the money you are prepared to spend.
With the technology of today sharing content is easy, also between social networks and blogs. If you do share posts between your social networks my advice is not to post an article an every network (unless you rewrite and refrase it). I am certainly not a SEO expert but I do know that Google likes unique content opposite to copy that is already posted on milions of sites.
In the other posts in this category I am going to share my personal opinion of networks and blogs I use myself. Plus some tips how to make money with them and tips to get followers.

Blogging to the Bank 2010 - The Truth!
Blogging has been around for a few years now. Most people use blogs to record their thoughts and lives, while a select few use them as a free way to make a fortune.

A while ago i submitted some links to TEAM Firestorm which were rejected, among them one of traficwave. A site like trafficwave does not violate any rules so i asked Andy why.
Andy said following; You're using Viral URL which does not work with Firefox and Opera is the issue. They get deleted because we can't see the website using Firefox which means roughly 60% of all people you would be investing traffic credits to see your sites can't see them either.
I tried but I could see my site in Firefox so I asked again. Andy explained this has something to do with seeing a catched image on your computer. So that is why a lot of people do not know this.
I am now recloaking all my url's that i cloaked with viral url. I use now the cloaker of Powerlist Marketing This is a good system + you can earn free traffic and money. However the greatest thing is the free opt in + autoresponder. This has boosted my sign ups enormously. It works also when you shorten the url fe for use in Tweets. Try here

I get loads of e-mails every day (luckely i created filters in my gmail) of which I read a few. Mostly I just look for the link to click in order to get points or credits or what ever.
When I glimps over I see the headlines though. Most emails come from internet marketeers in online business for years with multiple sites. Who have the credits or funds to send so many emails that it is likely that most people have already signed up before the new programs show up in the TE's where also the sites of the big guys are shown most often. So how can you compete with that? You can't if you have just started and have limited funds.
I do not say it is useless to promoot on TE's especially not when you use personal banners and splash pages but it is an illusion to think you will hit the jackpot when you are one of the first promoting new programs in the TE's. Of course there are new starters every day and when you are lucky you get a few sign ups.
There are also many link pages where you can submit your link. If you do not want to have if drop off or get more exposure you must pay. I looked at several of them and most of them have a low pagerank. I wrote emails to several of them and asked for visitor stats, I never got ans answer so be careful. When you have your own domain you better check your stats to see which ones are worth an upgrade.
What programs are likely to get referals? Programs which offer resources to gain traffic and programs which are online for a long time. I joined OBA which has valuable informative E-books about how to profit from TE's and how to get a residual income by using the concept of stacked income. The only cost 5 dollar.
Another way is to join a program or network with powerfull partners. I have found that in ATM. In category free downloads you can download an e-book with all info.
I also think it is a good idea to promoot niche products and services off al kinds, if it is possible to laser target your ads. This of couse requires some reseach. I am planning to try this soon.

There are several services with credit mailer i use as a free member; for example goldenopt safelist and downlinebuilderdirect. From both i receive tons of emails. I can not just delete them all because there is a link in them to earn credits. You need credits in order to send email messages yourself.
What do i do? I created filters in my gmail account so that all emails skip over my inbox and go directly to a special folders i created. I spend half hour earning credits and delete the ones i have no time for since there are coming new ones every day. In this way I can send mailings for free.

Free to join email lists to send your ads out for free. They all have in common that they have an in-house emailbox or a vacation mode. They are all safe lists. You can earn money. Optional is lifetime upgrade.
One of the ingredients of succes is traffic. You can never have enough traffic. But you do not want to spam in order to get it. I am a member of several bigger credit mailers too but I have more revenue from some smaller ones listed below:
I joined several lists, all belonging to the same owner Marian Myers who has been around for years. You can join them all through ListShock
All lists have in common that they have an in-house emailbox or a vacation mode. You can earn money. Optional is lifetime upgrade.
These lists are ideal:
- when you don't want to send a message everyday because you have few programs to promote and so you do not need so many credits; you could earn some credits and than send a message when you have enough.
- When you have more than 1 program to promoot you could use more lists and send different programm ads to each of them.
- Or you have a must read message you send with multiple lists. When you need many credits fast you can temporary turn the in-house mode off (consider setting up a filter in your email). You can join them all through ListShock
My personal favorits are Revolist because ads must be vieuwed 12 seconds and Trade A List Program because it has the most members. Some lists do not have so many members yet but the advantage of that is that it is easers to get new subscribers. Each list gives you a personal sign up page.

Members of Sweeva and other TE's are almost always impatient. They surf either for credits or to seek new bizz ops. They are not particular interested in buying stuff like beauty products, gifts etc.
Their prime goal and focus in the time they are surfing is to earn money.
Even if they see a desirable product they won't stop to check it out. At least at Sweeva there is a remember button. Of course even than they must remember and take the time to check the remembered items. On all other TE's sites fly by with an amazing speed.
The very least you need is a domain that people can remember. If your domain is something like www.cosmetics?ref=ajmfu they will never find you again when they need your product or service one time. Wenn they Google the product of their desie they will not find you but your competition. If your domain would be www.cosmetics they would probably remember it or find you quickly with a search engine.
Ok, you see the logic of that. But where to find such a domain name? All good and short domains .com .net etcetera are all already registered. Domain brokers ask small fortunes.
I have good news for you. You still can register good domains for a reasonable price. To brand your business or to redirect your difficult to remember affiliate link. Or you can a domain to a special page in your site with a niche product.
